Kosovo Mosque Carpet
Kosovo is a country located in the southeast of the Balkans. The art of weaving mosque carpets is quite common in Kosovo and is one of the traditional handicrafts. Mosque carpets produced in Kosovo are made in a style similar to carpets produced in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Mosque carpets in Kosovo are usually made of woolen threads and can be in vibrant colours. Carpets are usually decorated with geometric patterns and figures.
